Black Tin Deed Box, inscribed "Miss A.C. and Mr P.G. Ince

A modest black deed tin, early twentieth century, its lid and front panel lettered in faded white with the names Miss A.C. and Mr P.G. Ince. Keyhole present, though the key has long since gone its own way. The surface carries the gentle marks of time, nothing theatrical, just the ordinary wear of something that has been quietly useful.

It sits comfortably on a shelf or sideboard; one might keep small things inside, or simply let it be. The sort of object that asks no questions and offers no explanations, yet somehow holds a story if one cares to listen.
